A call for reason and fairness in the case of
U.S. vs. Walter Anderson

My "Seven Commandments" for Space Investment Success

by Walt Anderson

  1. Do not support a founder who has no record of success in any prior endeavor.
  2. Do not support a company unless there is a management team in place which can operate the company for at least 2 years without recruiting any additional senior managers.
  3. Do not invest in miracles or unproven technologies.
  4. Do not build or design anything that requires more than one major innovation at a time.
  5. Do not follow many other companies into a limited market niche. Find your own opportunity.
  6. Do not buy excuses and failure. If a business cannot meet its goals do not continue to support failed managers.
  7. DO NOT LET YOUR ENTHUSIAM FOR SPACE (or any other larger goal) CONFUSE YOUR ENTHUSIAM FOR A PARTICULAR COMPANY OR APPROACH. (This last one is the most difficult rule to follow.!)
